Happy Easter: An Observer In The Cathedral

On the night before Easter Sunday, I was thankful for the chance to quietly observe a Catholic Easter Vigil in a cathedral for the first time (and realising how different it was from the Baptist one I had seen before).

Knowledge, of any nature, is always fascinating and thought-provoking.
Above all, understanding different religions and cultures allows us to truly respect and appreciate each other in this world.

My favourite moment of the night was when everyone turned to each other, smiled, (kissed) and said “Peace be with you.”; whether taken in Christian context or not, it was still a beautiful wish one could say to another human being.

Even as a bystander, one felt all warm and fuzzy.

Happy Easter everybody. 🙂

Love,
Pi
